Stop press. I (well the Green Party, which I stood for in the recent elections) got 490 votes in West Coulsdon, Surrey putting us in 4th position with 9.5% How cool is that? The Green Party is the only party that acknowledges our way of life is completely unsustainable and set to cause environmental catastrophe. That`s pretty important I think! As a result they are the only political party that has a vision for the future stretching beyond the next four years of office. That's why all their policies take into consideration all the future generations and the type of world they will inherit. For those of us who love the Earth and Nature these considerations are essential. If it wasn`t for the Green Party I would certainly have no interest in politics because all the other parties are just variations of the same insanity and our political system is undemocratic and unfair.
